Page/Template Duration
The Duration of a Page is how long the page plays, including the time it takes for the transitions to play (see Page Details > Transition Tab > Duration).
To set the duration
- Open a page or template and go to the Misc tab in the Page Details Pane.
- Click in the duration field.
- Enter the length of the page in SMPTE format (hh:mm:ss:ff).
Duration for Video Pages
Video pages have an automatic duration of 0, which means that the entire video will play.
If you don’t want to play the entire video file, or you have want to span your video file over a few pages (see Create a Video Page with Text or Graphic Overlay for an example) enter a duration in SMPTE format (hh:mm:ss:ff). For example, 00:00:03:00 plays the first three seconds of the video file.
Duration for Crawl Pages
Never set the page duration for a page that uses the Crawl transition. You can, however, set the transition duration. See Crawl Settings.
